Vintage Paris art prints made into an art gallery worthy collection

Very vintage Holland prints of Paris street life- the prints themselves were a bit rough around the edges and an unusual size- behind a matted frame, you would never know.

Love how these turned out!

Happy New Year from Cheyenne Mountain Antiques and Vintage!

I am so hopeful for 2026 to be a year of moving forward in multiple ways. I am incredibly grateful for a year of growth in 2025, not just here on my account, but also on a personal level.

Thank you for sticking with me last year with some big changes- most notably- dropping to one(ish) big sale a month. Thank you for your support and words of encouragement. Thank you for understanding that life and family and children take first place over Instagram. Thank you for staying here and checking in to my account even though I may not be on daily.

I am sure there will be changes as 2026 ensues, but for now now I plan to keep carrying on with Instagram as usual. If there was one change I could hope for- it would be better sourcing opportunities this year( it has been a struggle!) another change or idea I am contemplating is to have more project based content. Whether it be our home, property or furniture refinishing.

For now... we just keep on keeping on! Happy New Year to everyone- I hope and pray for success, prosperity, good health and happiness for you all!

I haven't quite decided on a date yet- but thought it would be fun to do a preview for part one of the January sale. Tentatively Wednesday evening January 7th! Followed by part 2 Sunday January 11 for the remainder of the sale!

Easy transformations and small collections...

I found this greenhouse tray at the thrift, it had been reprint a shelf, but the top part had 1990s bonnet kids painted on it... so I went ahead and painted over it with a black matte as well as the outer edges to bring out that wood patina...

Then all I had to do was add a sweet collection of smalls!

Moral of the story- we can still use our creative sides and transform things!

The cabinet is filling up! And it's only December 19!

Ok- every once in a while I have things out of storage that work with #copycatvignettes ... and this week's challenge...I do! - always fun to play along!

One of my favorites collections has been those ridged yogurt cups- all collected locally from @sweetwilliamcoloradosprings! That and the little figural star bulb! This past summer, my mom pointed out the Chalkware Santa while we were antiquing in Iowa and I couldn't pass him up! All the stained butter pats have slowly been picked up here and there.... ahhhh Collections make such great stories.
